Health Minister Zweli Mkhize recently announced that the isolation period for COVID 19 patients has been reduced from 14 to ten days. This is on condition that the patient does not have a fever and the symptoms are improving. Minister Mkhize also says asymptomatic patients are to self-isolate for eight days.
