Decoding COVID-19

As South Africans come to grips with COVID-19, researchers have been working to understand the virus. In 2003, a molecular biologist from the University of the Western Cape studied coronavirus which was then responsible for the global outbreak of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome.
